"Essential Design wins 2014 Gold Tommie Award for Carlton Residence"
The redesign of this main floor/great room was challenging. With a closed in and dated space, that did not meet the needs of the clients, or take full advantage of a beautiful lake view, a creative solution was required. In order to contain the scope of the project, exterior alterations were kept to a minimum, and this required some careful planning. But by opening up the space, and reorienting the traffic flow, the clients got a kitchen with all the bells and whistles, loads of storage and light, and an incredible view from every angle. Clean modern finishing updated the look, and helped earn the Tommie Award for this reno.
